What is Interlibrary Loan?

As a research institution, the University Library strives to meet all of your research and scholarship needs. Interlibrary Loan service will borrow materials for you from libraries across the globe. We can help you find books and articles that are not available at the University of Illinois.

What is ILLiad?

ILLiad is a resource managing system that allows you to place Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery requests 24 hours a day. You can track your requests for books, articles and DocExpress, the library's document delivery service. You can even view and download electronically received articles. If you are affiliated with the University, your ILLiad account is set up automatically for you.
